Day 1: Casablanca โ†’ Rabat

Start your journey in Casablanca by visiting the famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. After exploring its beautiful architecture, travel to Rabat, Moroccoโ€™s capital city. Visit the Oudaya Kasbah, a peaceful historical fortress, and the impressive Hassan Tower. Spend the night in a charming riad in Rabat.

Day 2: Casablanca โ†’ Rabat

After breakfast, travel north to Chefchaouen, also known as the โ€œBlue City.โ€ Nestled in the Rif Mountains, this city is famous for its blue-painted streets and buildings. Stroll through its peaceful alleys, visit the historical Kasbah, and enjoy the local atmosphere. Overnight stay in a cozy hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen โ†’ Volubilis โ†’ Meknes โ†’ Fes

Leave Chefchaouen and head to Volubilis, an ancient Roman city with stunning ruins. Continue to Meknes, known for its grand gates like Bab Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Finally, drive to Fes, Moroccoโ€™s cultural and spiritual capital, where youโ€™ll stay in a traditional riad.

Day 4: Fes City Tour

Spend the day exploring Fes, starting with the beautiful gates of the Royal Palace. Walk through the Jewish Quarter and visit the ancient Medina, home to Al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest university in the world. Discover the famous tanneries and enjoy the cityโ€™s rich culture. Overnight stay in Fes.

Day 5: Fes โ†’ Ifrane โ†’ Midelt โ†’ Merzouga

Journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, nicknamed “Little Switzerland,” and the cedar forests of Azrou, where you might see monkeys. Continue through Midelt and the Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga, near the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Overnight in a hotel near the desert.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert Adventure

Start your desert adventure with a 4ร—4 tour to explore the surroundings. Visit nomadic families, the oasis of Hassi Labied, and enjoy traditional Gnawa music in Khamlia village. In the evening, ride camels into the desert to watch the sunset and spend the night in a comfortable Berber camp under the stars.

Day 7: Merzouga โ†’ Todra Gorge โ†’ Dades Valley

Wake up early to witness the magical desert sunrise. After breakfast, travel to Todra Gorge, known for its tall cliffs and narrow canyons. Enjoy a walk and then head to the scenic Dades Valley, famous for its unique rock formations. Spend the night in a hotel in the valley.
